Pinterest Drives More Traffic to Publishers Than Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit Combined

If you’re not a regular Mashable reader, we suggest you become one – it’s a great place to find digestible social media news (aside from us, of course). One of the latest from the Mashfolks (a nickname we just made up entirely), comes the above graph showing some rather interesting social media traffic trends. And while this information may sway some into rethinking their platform presence ratio, one has to be careful not to overlook demographics. The fact remains that Pinterest still has a predominently female fanbase (some say as high as 87%) so regardless of its ability to drive traffic, it may not be the best place for you to be promoting your male deodorant or monster truck rally (although hey, who doesn’t love to see vehicles smash into each other?!).
