Both are fine options! But whatever you did, you likely had a better time than the community manager(s) for 1-800-Flowers’ social media platforms, who once again braced themselves for a landslide of comments from dissatisfied customers (though it seems very possible many complaints were handled by an auto-reply-bot). This isn’t to say that the company doesn’t satisfy with the majority of its orders – it’s just that customer complaints have shifted from the privacy of an 800 number to the global stage of the Internet and therefore the vocal minority can paint a company with the color of a very sad, wilted flower.
